We Elect

Know who represents you.

Who represents you?

Enter a home address to see the federal and state officials elected to speak for you — from Washington to your statehouse.

Your address is sent to the U.S. Census geocoder to find your districts and, where available, to Google’s Civic Information service to find polling places. We Elect does not save it in a database or log it, and it is never placed in the web address.

We Elect exists to renew a sense of civic responsibility and a healthy public square: know who speaks for you, read the strongest case on every side, and decide for yourself. Independent and nonpartisan.

Federal
Your U.S. Representative and both U.S. Senators, with recent votes.
State
Your state senator and state representative.
Local
Mayors and county leaders where data exists. More local coverage is coming.
Both sides on key votes →
The strongest case for and against recent, widely covered votes in Congress, with the sources behind each side.

Is your voice not being heard?

Cities and counties decide things like policing, parks, streets and local services, and you don’t have to wait for an election to weigh in. Learn how to speak at a meeting, join a board, work the polls or run for office.

Is your city missing?
